Schedule a ConsultationTraining Built Around the Individual
There is no single program that works for everyone.
Your training should reflect your history, chronological and training age, current fitness, goals, schedule, injuries or limitations, and the activities you want to continue doing outside of the gym.
Balance Athletics combines progressive strength training, cardiovascular development, movement and mobility, nutrition guidance and long-term health coaching into a practical program designed specifically for you.
The objective is not simply to complete workouts.
It is to build a stronger, more capable body that supports the rest of your life.
Train for the Life You Want to Live
Sterling Ranch is surrounded by opportunities to be active, from neighborhood trails to Roxborough and Chatfield State parks, Waterton Canyon and more. We have pickle ball courts, a pool and more amenities on the way. Good training should make those experiences easier to enjoy.
That may mean having the strength to hike comfortably, an aerobic base that enables you to spend a full day outdoors, the mobility to move without unnecessary restriction or simply the confidence that your body can continue doing the things you enjoy as you get older.
What We Can Work On
Personal Coaching — Not Just a Workout
Anyone can download an exercise program.
The value of coaching is having someone experienced paying attention to the details.
Technique. Progression. Recovery. Consistency. How your body is responding. What is working. What needs to change.
After more than 18 years of coaching, my approach is deliberately practical: master the fundamentals, apply them consistently and make the program fit the person—not the other way around.
No punishment-based workouts.
No need for fitness to consume your life.
Just thoughtful, individualized coaching designed to help you become stronger, healthier and more capable.

I’ve been coaching clients full time since 2008 across the domains of strength and conditioning, health coaching and optimization, mobility, nutrition, rehabilitation and general and sport-specific performance.
I combine experience, continuous learning and highly individualized programming to help clients build strength, improve health and develop the physical capacity to pursue the lives they want to live.
A Practical Approach to Long-Term Health
There is no shortage of health information.
The challenge is determining what actually matters for you—and turning that information into consistent action.
Balance Athletics focuses first on the fundamentals:
Then, when appropriate, the details can be optimized.
The goal is sustainable progress rather than constantly chasing the newest workout, diet, supplement or health trend.
Sterling Ranch Personal Training FAQ
Do I need to already be in good shape?
No. Training is adapted to your current abilities and experience. The starting point matters far less than having an appropriate plan and progressing from there.
Do you work with people over 60?
Absolutely. Often times seniors have additional considerations that require experience and care. I’m happy to be able to provide both.
Is training customized?
Yes. Programming is based on your goals, training history, schedule, limitations and progress. It is not a standardized workout given to every client.
Can training help me prepare for hiking, skiing or other outdoor activities?
100%. Strength, aerobic fitness, balance and movement can all be developed with the activities you enjoy in mind.
Do you offer partner training?
Yes. Individual and partner coaching and group options are available.
Build a Stronger Foundation
You do not need fitness to become another job. You need a plan that fits your life, experienced guidance and enough consistency to create meaningful change.
